The cows don't bother me enough to loose the right side of the image(if that's what Gail was taking about). The contour of the hills is what makes the image for me. FLICKR

It does look a tad soft, but maybe that's just the compression. I'd also bring the shadows up just a hair. That tree in the foreground is pretty much a black blob(my monitor is calibrated). Overall though this shot is a real winner. I'm curious which browser you are using. I've been working on making sure the seam between sky and land is free of sharpening halos. I selectively sharpened the land and the sharpening post compression may be a tad weak. The shadows are dark.

The only thing could be lightening the exposure just a tad. Not only the shadows but the whole image or fill some light and then increase the contrast. This would strengthen the gloomy look, I think. BTW: I like the panaroma crop - it gives and idea of space. My name is Henk. and I believe "It is all in the eye of the beholder....."

The Paradise Highway image shows a lot of purple in the blue on Chrome because I used Andrews suggestion and output using PhotoPro profile. This image is output using sRGB which is friendlier to applications which do not manage color (limit the color gamut). I think that's why this image works in both browsers while the PH image does not.

This is pretty close to final print.
I am impressed with the level of detail captured with the 180/2.8 APO. Sharpening is minimal. I had to basically reinvent my print process for landscapes. This image was produced from a single raw file. Print IQ has increased substantially IMO. Thanks everyone for your input. Joe
