This is a thread for the SE UK POTN members to organise a meal out and put faces to names.

Various people work shifts including Chris who if we pull this off should really be there.

First of all who would like to come and what days of the week can you make?

We can then decide whether or not it will be an afternoon or evening meal and where.

Fingers crossed we will be able to get most of us to make it.

My shift rota varies quite greatly from week to week mate. And I do both days and nights. It's going to make most sense if you maybe base it around say Chris' shift pattern which is the same all the time, then see if others are happy, and finally if I can make it then great, but if not...... I'll survive.

Have you decided where the meet/meal will be and if weekend are 'we' talking lunchtime???

I would say in general weekends might be better but depending on "where" a Friday evening might be possible. Just so b****y k*******d most of the time during the week  :(

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

Ah! but you have youth on your side ;) I gave up burning the candle both ends longer ago than I care to remember

Talking of the food ~ gastro pub, Italian, Chinese, Thai......??? I think a Chinese or Thai meal can be good for a "socialising group" ~ lots of dishes and shared choices to pass around???

I'm easy on food.. Thai/Chinese/Indian buffets are good, you don't have to eat loads, you can chat, and you dont have to wait for your food so theres no rush. But i'm open to anything else personally.

Silly question, but is anyone taking a camera? LOL :D

I was really thinking of a gastro pub, but thats only coz of my fussy eating. If we did all choose chinese etc then i would still come along and would have a good chat.
