Well, here are a few soccer & baseball photos from last week's games. Let me know what you think of them.

Soccer was shot in bright sunlight, f 2.8 Simga 70-200mm and my 20d.

Here are a few baseball photos from Tuesday night. Shot with the Sigma 70-200mm. I had to shoot at high iso, it was dark, grey and a little rainy here in Jersey on Tuesday. Shooting these evening games are tough because the light really changes as we get later in the game.

I ran the bball photos through some noise reduction sw because they were very noisy on my machine.

Your feedback is appreciated.

Scott

I think you did a nice job on them. The second soccer image isn't very good but the others are.

Only been at this for a year, but I'd look to crank up the SS a bit. the baseball pics are better than the soccer, but still could have frozen that bat with faster SS. What's the EXIF for these?

The baseball photos were shot late in the evening at iso 400/200. I was doing all I could to get a decent shutter speed. I bumped the exposure and ran some NR on these.

That second soccer shot looks much on my machine here than it does on the web. I am going to give it another go at PP and see if I did something wrong.

I have no experience with the 20D, but I thought it could do fine at higher ISO than 400/200. Have you tried ISO 800, or even 1600?
