So I my club fingers got their imprint on my fairly new Hoya HD CPL and I was wondering if there were any techniques or warnings that I should consider before trying to clean this thing.

Now Hoya claims their filter elements are completely merged with the glass rather than coatings on one side or sandwiched between like others...blah blah... So, just because I'm a worry-wart, I want to know if there are any best techniques for this particular filter line -- or is it the same dry synthetic brush/air rocket + rubbing alcohol and microfiber cloth route?

any comments or techniques welcome for debate :)
