This is a self portrait I took yesterday. I recently purchased some strobes and yesterday after finally purchasing some light modifiers and background paper, I was able to try them out. Please C&C. Keep in mind, this is my first attempt at strobes. Good and bad comments welcome. Fire away! :)

Interesting shot I would say… but on my screen it looks a little bit soft… is that what you were going for? Also I'd say the colors are nice =]

Did you add blur to the whole image? Lighting is fine, but something unusual is going on with the post.

I used a glamour glow preset from nik software. Should I remove it? I guess it made the pic soft. If I remember correctly, I shot it at f5.6.

I used to use it alot.lol.but it needs to be used lightly in conjunction with other filters to make it believable., Take the glow off and repost!;)

Yeah, the glow is too strong, its like looking through frosted glass.
