I like the processing. the background requires improvement. I would make a tighter crop as well.

very nice. i prefer the pp in the first one, it doesn't blow out the blanket quite as much. the baseboard "horizon line" is slightly crooked, but otherwise, very nice. Someone should be very happy to pay you for work like that.

I like #1 too! :) I am not too fond of the green background.. I think it's better to just have the beautiful floors showing..

Honestly I'd go the opposite direction with the processing. the shot is totally adorable, and I like your SOOC version better than the edited one. How about lightening up the mood and making it more soft and dreamy, rather than dark and moody...?

Just a thought, and totally my opinion.. You really have to please yourself and go with your artistic vision. That's the most important thing... staying true to your personal style regardless of what everyone else thinks. :) Oh.. by the way... love the basket.. where'd you find that? I could use one in that sort of shape. :)

you lost a lot of detail in the blacks and whites in #2. I would just straighten up the photo and do a little curves and call it a day. Your SOOC pic is nice. I also love the basket.

Kristy, Thank you! I tried the dream look did it work here? I really appreciate you taking time to help. I got the basket from Hobby Lobby when they were having I think a 50% off sale, my wife saw it and thought it would be great as a prop.

HelenD, I did as you and others said a tighter crop as well as a straightening of the canvas. Thank you for the sharp eye!!

My new attempt:

That last one is the best IMO. Great shot of a cutie, I love how the color in the background adds to it.

Good job on the edit. I like the crop much nicer as the baby is the subject and my eye if drawn better to the subject.
