Hi all, just thought I would post this pic of my niece for some feedback.
Taken whilst out and about, 70-200 @ 5.6.
The more I look at this, the more I like it. I know the style wont be to everyones liking, but like to know your thoughts.
Thanks

I like it :)

I would have kept the background as it is. But I would have made her a bit brighter. Marked her and done a PP on her alone.

Living in Austria, I am so glad that there is stuff like Gimp out there...
I am a happy giver, so if you find any misspelling in my text, you can keep them... :)

What a sweetie of a niece you've got there!
And I love the shot.
As you rightly said, it won't be to everyone's tastes, but if we all catered to everyone's tastes, life would be far too stressful, wouldn't it!
Obviously, if your felt creative, there are all sorts of ways you could "tweak" this for a range of different finishes, which could be fun in a sort of "No, not Miss Munroe, but my niece" รก la Mr Warhol; but that's entirely up to you!
Regards,
Simon
PS: If you run in to Salma in POTN, who also hails from Bucks, say "Hi!" to her from me :D

"Whatever you do, enjoy yourself...otherwise, what's the point."
6D/7D and ALL Canon/Sigma gear SOLD!!!! Now: Olympus PEN EP-5 & OM-D EM-5 Mk2 and 8 lenses!
