I'm looking for a compact bag that can store JUST the following:

5D + 24-70 2.8
1D2n + 70-200 2.8IS mk1
580EXII x 2 (stacked straight, or L etc)
Water bottle & Small umbrella outside
13" Laptop (or A4 holder, size of the laptop)

In my mind, the way I want the bag fit is like so:

IMAGE: http://img46.imageshack.us/img46/4387/bagconcept.jpg

Is there any bag out there where I can customise the dividers like so?

I'm looking for fast and easy access and pack-ups for my gear, but the bag must not be too wide like a think tank streetwalker harddrive which I had and sold for a roller bag. The cost of the bag should not be more than that of the streetwalker HD as well, about SGD$240 or USD$175.

Anyone?

Cheers,
Zexun

I use the streetwalker pro which is the slightly smaller, non laptop version. I think it's great. Very comfy on my shoulders and well made.

Thanks for the replies guys! Unfortunately i'm looking for a slimmer bag width wise. 2 lens pockets wide instead of 3. I had a streetwalker harddrive around this time last year for about 4 months. Too bulky.

what about the dakine sequence? Its a nice stylish backpack that doesn't look like a camera backpack. I have one and although I haven't actually taken it out yet it shoudl be able to fit your equipment easily.

I think the width requirement might be an issue, based on your prefered configuration, doesn't the width of you two bodies with lenses attached equate to about 10 - 11 inches even with some 2 inch overlap (this assumes the width of the bodies are around 6 inches wide) ? Add some padding in between and on the sides and you have more than 11 inches in width.

I do want both bodies with lenses mounted if possible. If I can't get a bag that does this, then i'll stick to my own bags. I don't have as many bags as Jon has domke's ;)

All I want is actually a two-lenses'-wide bag with the middle divider like shown in the picture (bendy at 2 points near the end). Not sure if there's a bag that does this.

No space for a laptop. Anyone can tell me if the front compartment can fit A4 notes for school?

Hmm, perhaps a Vertex 100 AW?

I was just about to suggest the Vertex 100AW Zexun

Pity you're not closer to the UK as I'm letting mine go. I've discovered Think Tank you see ;) and backpacks aren't for me. As far as backpacks go I think the Vertex is well made and feels secure enough for one's gear.

Hope this helps

Dakine Sequence is a good bag, comfy and holds a lot...but no laptop compartment.
