Hey guys!!

This is my cousin and his girlfriend on the day of prom. Holy neon green dress she had on!! It did crazies to my white balance for sure. I wasn't even sure what to do when I loaded them on the computer. Anyways, I picked a few I liked and did kind of a vintagey washed out feel.

What do you think of the processing?
What do you think of the photos themselves?

It was a really weird day... it just had finished raining and it was hazy and the sun was bright. I used flash and f's of at least 16. I'm sad that I really couldn't get any nice shots with good bokeh, but I didn't want any harsh shadows. I had them in the shade a lot but it probably wouldn't have looked right. What would you have done?

Good shots, the harsh conditions taken into consideration. I like the left and right ones. The one in the middle I just don't get.

Good work!

I understand the kind of effect you are looking for, but I would be very careful to keep the detail in the highlights as much as you can. I would also recommend looking to Open Shade when you can find it. Take a quick run through what I have to say about the Quality of Light.

Great Shots! But I agree with what Robert_Lay has said about the highlights… It takes away a lot of details especially in the girl's face…
