Hi David, Nice shot, although I would like to see a slightly larger version of it. ;) :D
The 240Z, Yes, I have a soft spot for those as well. I owned a 240 and a 280. The 260 was a bit of a dog as it was a transition model for smog purposes. ;)

Ja, I agree, bigger & closer would have been nice. Still, not a photo without merit :)

The 2XX anything Datsuns... hehehe. I'll refrain from commenting on my opinion of them as a car :)

Just returned after many years hiatus from this forum. I was a bit of a prat before, if I ever offended you, I'm sorry

I've got all the equipment I need, now I just need inspiration :D

are you both saying to crop in closer to the car, or just show a larger version of the photo altogether?

I liked this crop, but tell me what you mean.

Your photo is showing up fairly small, and that makes it harder to appreciate. That's all I meant anyway.

hey gotta' take you to task there Bruce, my wife had two 260Z's over the years and both were great cars, the last one still going strong! I will admit the 240 was/is the car to have, very few worthwhile having these days though. The car in this photo looks in great condition and it would be nice to see a cropped, larger version to see it better......nice colour in the pic though.
Roger.

Ah :) Datsun 240Z. About the only Japanese car you could turn up at a classic car show in and not be laughed at!

Hi Roger, While the 260 was still a durable engine, it never had the punch that the 240 & 280 had, sorry. Check with any true "Z" afficionado and you'll hear the same thing. Now if you mod the engine, you can bring it right up to where it should be. ;)

Nice shot! I think I'd crop out the yellow line at the bottom. It draws my attention away from the car.
I vote for bigger, too! ;-)a

I actually like the yellow line at the bottom, it kind of pulls it all together.
