Apr 26, 2010 20:33 | #9 Awesome location, but as thesilent said, there's just not any separation between foreground and background. If you can't do that in camera, I would really post process that, or gaussian blur the background on your bottom layer and mask out the background on your top layer so you get some separation in your final print. I think that would be stellar! My Blog: http://www.harmonweddings.com

If you want a shot at it I can send you the tiff file.

Looks a lot more realistic. Who says I wanted it to look realistic? DetlevCM wrote: I don't know - my eyes react "weirldy" to this image - or its my brain. The trees are blurred - I guess there was some wind? Somehow the trees look bad to me... And the building - or what's left of it, looks rather unsharp on the right hand side. I don't know... while its a very nice idea - I can't look at the image for a long time That's ok. It's not for everyone. Thanks for looking.

Its never really pleasing to look at anymore, so just give it a shot next time. I use Exposure Blend all the time, and my HDRs come out looking exactly how I saw them with my eyes. Everything exposed perfectly, and no HDR look.
