Has all the hallmarks of HDR processing - which I happen to like.
Keep up the good work and bring in some more HDR.
Congratulations!

Too much for my taste. Seems flat and has halos. Too small a resolution to see really see the details, though.

Where are you seeing the halos? Here's a bit larger version of it.

Where are you seeing the halos?

In the sky surrounding the trees.

Very nicely done, and I think the mottled sky is giving the impression of some halos, but I am not seeing any due to processing.

you're a great friend, but if Zombies chase us, I am tripping you.

It may just be my personal taste, but I'm afraid the ruins don't stand out enough from the trees. They all seem to blend together and I get lost looking at it.

Wow... I'm a sucker for old, abandoned, rundown, and torn-down-by-fire buildings... Awesome capture, great work!

Awesome location, but as thesilent said, there's just not any separation between foreground and background. If you can't do that in camera, I would really post process that, or gaussian blur the background on your bottom layer and mask out the background on your top layer so you get some separation in your final print. I think that would be stellar!

I really wish I knew photoshop better... The trees really did envelope the ruins from the angle I took the shot. The other angles were pretty boring. If you want a shot at it I can send you the tiff file.

Next time you do an HDR in Photomatix, try using Exposure Blend instead of Generate HDR. Looks a lot more realistic.

I don't know - my eyes react "weirldy" to this image - or its my brain.

The trees are blurred - I guess there was some wind?
Somehow the trees look bad to me...
And the building - or what's left of it, looks rather unsharp on the right hand side.

I don't know... while its a very nice idea - I can't look at the image for a long time :(

Who says I wanted it to look realistic? ;)

That's ok. It's not for everyone. Thanks for looking.

The whole overdone HDR thing is too common, and everyone's seen it. Its never really pleasing to look at anymore, so just give it a shot next time. I use Exposure Blend all the time, and my HDRs come out looking exactly how I saw them with my eyes. Everything exposed perfectly, and no HDR look.
