Iv got a little more work to do on it but so far I like the result. I was trying for a soft, romantic lighting that would bring out detail while still holding the mood.

Any C&C is appreciated

Thanks in advance

I like it. I wish there was a bit more light on her to bring out the dress and her face more, but otherwise, nice work.

+1.

I'm nit picking but that vapor trail keeps pulling my eye. Consider cloning it out?

That actually wasn't a vapor trail, it was a shooting star. Afterward, we looked it up on an astronomy website and a shooting star was reported that night and at that time.

Otherwise I would have shopped it out but the couple thought it was something special

Thanks for the advice, I'll definitely try more light next time

Any other suggestions?

I adjusted white balance. Elevated overall exposure. Darkened background a bit and softened highlights while raising mid-tones. IMO, this puts the attention on more on your subjects.

I hope you don't mind my try at another possibility. I adjusted tone to suit (me), selected the couple and lightened/adjusted contrast then darkened the background a bit.

My version is not as warm but I think the blues work well to my eye.

Neat attempts guys, both look great but the blue is a little too blue, you lose the whiteness of her dress.

The first one is great as well but the overall brightness loses some of the mood.

Both give me good ideas on where to go from here. When I posted, I knew some people would throw out some great ideas. Thanks to everyone who has posted.

I have some work to do

If anyone else has any suggestions, feel free to post them.
