My niece and nephew in the park yesterday afternoon.
5DMII and 70-200 f2.8L, shoot-thru umbrella with speedlite.

Did you use TTL or manual for the Speedlite?
Looks about 1/2 stop under exposed and also a bit blue for my task.
Looks like late afternoon light so would like it a little warmer.
Should this be in the sharing threads rather than here?
Like the nice light the shoot through offers. I would have had it a bit more off axis and about another foot higher so the shadow on from his nose is slanting down a bit. That would also have reduced the highlights on his forehead a bit. Although, much farther around and her hair would have put her eye in shadow.
Might also have helped if the umbrella were closer to them. How far away was it? How big?

Lovely portrait. I agree that it does seem a tad underexposed, though.

I'd consider posting in the Photo Sharing section next time unless you're looking for specific information regarding equipment.

Also, think about carrying some C&C Oil Absorbing Sheets (I always do). It'll help reduce the shiny foreheads and noses.
