LR database pc --> mac?

is windows lightroom database exportable so i can use import/open it in a mac based lightroom install? perfect compatibility without glitches?

Yep, fully cross platform. Only think to look out for is the drive names/letters will be different, so you'll need to be able to relink the files easily. I'd suggest you make sure the Folders panel is showing a hierarchy before you move, so you only have a single top level folder to relocate.
