It only took me like 10 shots before I was able to capture her "still".. :) This was taken in my just delivered Sigma30mm. I love the lens, but it seems I get 1 good out of 10shots fired! lol..

Cute shot, I have one going on 3 and they don't sit still very long, makes getting a good shot difficult sometimes.

T, I love this one.

Sigma lenses sometimes have focus issues. Is it that or is it the small DOF that is causing you to miss shots? Just something you may want to think about. If you bought it new, you can send it to Sigma to calibrate it at no charge. There are test charts in the lens section to find out if the focus is on.
