Shot these yesterday. The last 5 show some of their synchronized courtship behavior. Not the best images, but I thought they were interesting.

Thanks for the comments. I'm glad some folks found them interesting. The eyes really are quite striking.

Stan, they winter on the Texas coast, but I don't know they make it into Florida much. These were the first I've seen in breeding plumage.

Mitch, I think the Western Grebe is the one that run on the water. These do a more subtle little dance where they move their heads ether together or in a mirror image.
