portable backup device

Besides the hyperdrive and epson p3000, are they any other choices on portable backup solution? Looking for something not expensive, large capacity (>40G) and long battery life. Do not need lcd screen to display images but transfer must be reliable.

You might look into the Jobo Giga One Sonic Portable Storage Device w/160GB HDD. It has slots for all types of media plus a USB port for transferring to your computer. I believe they make a larger capacity version as well. I think Adoramo has a few other types too. The Jobo 160gb runs about $180.

I have a Vosonic VP8870 device, 250 Gb, view and store direct from cards, works on batteries or power. The only thing I don't like about it is that it renames/numbers your files

I've been using the Nexto DI Extreme which has proven to be reliable, simple and faster than anything I've tried before.
