Just wondering if anyone here has any shots with the above combo, preferably the 5DMKII if possible. If you do, would you recommend this lens for full frame?

Thanks!

The Sigma 30mm doesn't cover a 35mm image circle. Do you mean the Sigma 50 f/1.4?

The 30mm vignettes substantially on a full-frame sensor such as the 5Dii.

"Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.

doesn't cover 35mm image circle but I found it to be a pretty cool lens on APS-H

That lens vignettes heavily on 5D1; I know because I have tried it, on two separate occasions. While very sharp, the images imo are unuseable. One possibilty for use might be portraits that incorporate the vignetting, but imo even those would need some cropping. Okay, arm twisted, here's an example:

You'll just end up cropping back to the 45mm FOV it has on 1.5x crop to get rid of the black edges, so not really worth using. Might as well just get a 50mm f1.4 at that point. The budget FF solution for you would be the 28mm f1.8 or 35mm f2.

Interesting info. Thanks everyone for your input. I thought the Sigma 30 would work well on FF but I'm glad I asked first before purchasing it.
