Hey

Here are 3 examples of photos from my recent holiday to Les Alps :D

If you click the pics, it should take you to the page with the EXIF.

All were taken as RAW and have done some slight touching up in pp, levels and curves mainly.

Another option on the last shot would be to focus at the hyperfocal distance and see what result you get. The bottle of Jaegermeister should not be any more important than the landscape.

#1 is sweet
#2 is the traffic I'd be getting away from
#3, well, nothing like a little J. I do like the lighting in the neck.

I'm accross the canal just south of Ballard, the town Seattle usurped in 1907.

Thinking back, I probably should have done that. Will remember for next time.
And I'm glad you like them Windpig, nothing like a Jager :P

I was thinking about cropping the first one a little, but can't decide what to do, it feels a little top-heavy...

Your subject in the 2nd image (the bottle) is underexposed and the background is over exposed.

Thanks for your input.

Unfortunately this is the best I could do without a flash. I shot in RAW and this is what I could salvage from it, you should see the original ...

I don't think the bottle is too underexposed, but I do agree about the background being blown out a bit.

Yes...VERY difficult image to shoot.

Possibly a reason to buy a flash ;)

Anybody else have any C&C? Would be very welcome.

Thanks
