Last week I posted for the first time a couple of non people shots. These are 2 shots of my son straight out of camera, please let me know your thoughts. Thank You

In order to get the JPG small enough to post the image here looks terrible. Any ideas?

Your pictures as posted are about 40 kB - 45 kB. So, they are compressed about twice as much as necessary. When you save in Photoshop it allows you to adjust the quality, and if you adjust until it drops to a file size of 100 kB, then you will be using as large a file as permitted.

I like the first shot, but the second one is better. He has a much better expression. You also got lucky in that the yellow balls of bokeh seem to be creating a halo around his head. So, the composition is better than planned for.

Go To Flicker.com or Photobucket.com and set up a image hosting page (Its free)

You can then upload the photos to that, full size and full quality and post the image link back here! :D

Hi Cosha, I got a dumb question. You post states at the bottom what gear you got, can I ask what "(Gripped)" means.

I suggest cutting the resolution down to 1024 (or smaller) and using less compression (80-90%).
