using a 2x tele converter
Does it double everything?
If I use a sigma 150m f/2.8 lens, I know it will be 300mm but will it stay at 2.8, or will THAT become 5.6 as well?!

I am looking to buy something with more reach... is there really a lot of advantage of having a zoom?! I absolutely LOVE my nifty fifty... I never thought I could fall in love with a piece of glass and plastic... until I used this!

a 2X will also double any imperfections the lens has. Usually you will get better image quality with a 1.4X.
