Olive Sparrow

The Olive Sparrow is a Mexican species that can be found in the southern part of Texas. Hard to catch in the open, but this little guy was just singing his heart out. I searched and did not find any posts of this elusive Sparrow.

Very nice set of shots. I've got this guy in my book, but never saw one. Never knew they were Southern birds either, so I guess I can quit looking. :)
