What's the app you're using called? My iPhone has "Planets" but doesn't have the ISS, just a star chart and some other celestial data.

i don't think there's an iPhone app for that, it's the Google Sky Map Andriod only.

Check out the "satellites" app for iphone. It's pretty basic but works for ISS and shuttle when up.

I'll check it out, thanks!

For now, "Planets" is great for stars and planets, the Milky Way and constellations, but doesn't help at all for ISS, shuttles, or other predictions from man-made objects.

From one site, it says this about my location (LaPorte, IN)
ISS
Fri Apr 30/08:37 PM
4 duration
86 elevation
16 above SW 17 above NE

ISS
Fri Apr 30/10:14 PM
1 duration
17 elevation
17 above NNW 15 above N

How do I figure out the last parts Ex: 17 above NNW this is where it will approch 15 above N this is where it will leave your line of sight

I searched but couldnt find alittle tutorial on how to read this.

NASA's site http://spaceflight.nasa.gov/realdata/sightings/ (external link) gives a good explanation
along with a visual pic as you see below.

A good program to view exif data is the popular Infranview program, just google the name
