My new Sigma 150-500 arrived today, and so did the rain after ten days of sunshine!!!

But I couldn't just wait for better weather. This blackbird was singing his little heart out in the miserable weather. Considering the conditions I'm really pleased with this lens.

C&C welcome.

Handheld 1/160, f 6.3, ISO 500, 500mm.

Congrats on the new lens....you have great hands too, handholding at 1/160sec @ 500mm and getting this amount of sharpness.

I would say it is sharp... beautiful detail and resolution... I will look forward to seeing outcomes in good light... looks like an exceptional copy.

Very nice Phreddie,

Real sharp and well exposed. Good work with a slow shutter in rainy conditions.

Looks like you got a good lens there.

I love the detail...especially the beads of water on it's back. These types of conditions broing out the best colors in my opinion.
