Just curious, cause It seems that way. In order to sell my prints on my Zen and make a profite, even using Base Lab prices. You need to provide one?

I've never used Zenfolio, but since nobody's answered.... I suspect that since they are a large business where you'd potentially sell a taxable amount of photos in a year, then yes they need your tax ID so they can send you a 1099 at the end of the year.

Sometimes your SSN is your Tax ID.

Unless you file for a federal tax id for your "company" your SSN is your Tax ID number. You can obtain the Federal Tax ID number for free via the IRS website. If you hav ethe established business and it is a sole proprietor setup then you are probably already using your SSN as you company tax id. If you are a LLC then you should have a Federal Tax ID. I am no expert this is based on what I have found in looking into starting my business. The Small Business Administration is a great resource. sba.gov
