Is there a need for a 70-200 lens??

Taking a trip in a couple of weeks to San Fransisco, Big Sur, Carmel, and Yosemite. Will I have a need for a 70-200??

With your collection I doubt it. but It cant hurt if you have the $$$ then again it would be a fun thing to buy there. Keep in mind though if you had to take it back you would have to go back to San Fransisco.

Well I kind of already have it....but can return it in the next couple of weeks. I love it but I'm having anxiety over the $$. I wanted to upgrade from the 55-250 and was using this trip to do so.
So do you think there would be a need for that size zoom?

Well which 70-200 did you get? you can always downgrade. Also what kind of photography do you enjoy? if you use the 55-250 alot then I would keep the 70-200 and sell the 55-250. then you still have your upgrade and also have some of your cash back

I used my 70-200 for closeups on the Yosemite waterfalls.
