Anywhere to get one with reasonable pricing? A new copy is $599 plus $6 shipping if it's in stock. I can't justify to pay more than that for a used copy without the 3 year warranty that comes with the new lens...

J&R has them listed at $599 and if you go through Bing shopping you get 5% cashback. Last night when I looked they were out of stock though which seems to be a common problem with the lens.

It's out of stock. I checked with them locally and on internet frequently.

Yes they did - and i was amazing to see how quickly they went. I got one when the multiple quantity auction was running. All ten went in about 7-8 hours.

OP: Its a good lense, and you'll be happy once you manage to secure one.

The one I followed went on for at least 3 days. I wanted to see it sell out in 7-8 hrs so I wouldn't have to worry, but it kept saying 10+. I finally bit into it and bought it.
