Water drops. Critique and suggestions welcome

After reading quite a few threads over here I tried my luck.

Would love to hear about what you like and what you don't and any suggestions you have.

All pics have been manually shot (no triggers) with my 40D+100mm 2.8 macro, flash 580ex at 1/32, manual mode F11, camera as low over the surface as possible without the plastic tray rim not intruding the frame, flash set to light a background which then acted as some sort of a bright-field lighting. At one point a CD at the bottom.
