Friend makes these "Ptarmis." They resemble Ptarmigans which is a bird we get up here in the arctic a lot. Thought this would be really cute to involve them in holding one of my prints before I packaged it up and shipped it out. I'm a big fan of Janet Pacey and LOVE the ptarmis. They help me get creative and play with ideas when there's nothing happening in the skies at night, or I don't feel up to going out.
