Rebel Challenge #34 "Transportation"

Challenge starter virgin here so bear (bare?) with me:

The theme I chose for this round is transportation. I'm purposely choosing a broad topic with room for interpretation with hopes that some people venture outside of the "planes, trains and automobile" conventions. This is not to say those that shoot "conventional" or obvious forms of transport should be penalized: the best picture should win. Have fun with the topic, I can't wait to see the submissions.

Submissions end Sunday May 9th at 11:59pm est (unless a mod changes it) (you can check the time here: java based clock))

Submissions will be open to anyone with a Digital Rebel Camera (Rebel/300d, XT/350d, XTi/400d, XS/1000d, XSi/450d, T1i/500d)

Rules:
*Must be shot with Canon Rebel
*Must be shot during this time frame, May 1st - May 9th
*Must provide Exif data
*Only one pic per person
*Submissions must be posted in this thread by May 9th at 11:59pm est (unless a mod changes it)
*Voting will begin May 10th and go through May 14th and is open to anyone on the forum.
*Winner will choose topic for the following week

Hi, great shot... and welcome to the challenge. It is great to see new contributors here. Youre shot would definently have been the first I would have given my vote to. This is an excelent shot!!!! You have all reason to be proud of your son, and youre great shot.

But I guess that you have missed the part of the challenge that says that the shot needs to be taken in this week.

You are welcome to post any other shots taken this week. The challenge of the Rebel Challenge is that we can't post our best shot ever, we need to go out and make new shots this week. It makes it a bit more difficult and tricky, but it helps us to push our skills forward.

You have some great shots posted here on the forum, so I hope you come back to the challenge next week.

Classic Transportation

Not so many pictures this time. But those that came was great.

I give my vote to cubatahabana. I like the contrast of the picture, with the totaly black sky and the overexposed white line.

Jk's Ford was also excelent. This car is shining, well done. I like the croping of it. I find it difficult to find a good crop on cars.
