I'm not interested in getting them, but I've got a question anyway. How'd they work if you were shooting with flash units?

At least with the 580 EXII, there's no interfence at all. The Speedlite angles away from the back of the camera. Nothing touches the flipped up lens or the frame. But I'm also using the EX eyepiece extender.

Yes, sorry, that wasn't clear. What I meant was that when you remove the viewfinder from your eye, and move the camera away from your face, you should direct the camera a bit toward the nasal side instead of straight ahead.

If you move it out straight ahead, the eyepiece may get caught on the outside edge of the glasses frame.

It's quite simple to get used to.

Have tried these glasses during a two week trip abroad. I wore them every day, for eight hours most times. They are very comfortable, I didn't feel the wraparound wire earpieces at all even after that length of time. Both the lenses rotated easily, especially the right shooting eyepiece, and didn't loosen after hours of moving it up and down; it remained as tight as the left, which I didn't move much.

Two things I noted. The first is that with both lenses raised, they acted like a visor, especially as they were Transition light-sensitive lenses; as they turned dark in the sun, I really didn't need a cap as a sunshade. Second, at least three guys with cameras on their shoulders came over and asked where I had gotten them.

I told them to check out POTN.

At least for me with the 5D2, with glasses on, I can't see the sides or all four corners of the field, as I can't get my eye close enough to the viewfinder.
