I am guessing it polarises opinions a bit like HDR. Please let me know your thoughts and experiences. Thanks.

It's a bit of a CPU and memory hog, but some of the effects are pretty cool. It's nice to have in your bag of tricks for post-processing. I have several others that I also use, and depending on what look I'm going for, Topaz Adjust might be one tool I'd use in post. Cameras: 1DX, 1D4, 20D, 10D, S90, G2

Like any program, you can go way too far with it but if you work with it, it can do some very nice things to your photos. What I really like about Topaz is that it is relatively cheap software and they have updated it several times and so far, all of the updates have been free. - I discovered I scream the same way whether I'm about to be devoured by a great white shark or if a piece of seaweed touches my foot.

I particularly like to use it in cases where I mask and blend layers, so I can get the "effects" where I want them, or at the level of strength I want them. When I first got Topaz Adjust (ver 3) around Christmas time, I went back and reprocessed some of my favorite photos of 2009 with it. (LINK My Gear and Stuff :: My Zenfolio Gallery

I really like the effect. Also use it to bring out shadows which must usually be denoised afterwards. And it is great for pulling out details, again masking and brushing them in gradually,

I took one of the presets, tweaked it to my liking, saved a new preset and made it part of my batch processing for all my RE shots. I've had clients ask me if I have a 'high def' lens or camera. LOL I've had some clients try to cut me out of the loop by buying the same camera and lens I have, only to come back and say 'I can't figure out how to make the photos look like yours.' Topaz Adjust has literally contributed to the sucess of my business. Not bad for a $45 program. It plugs right into CS4 as a filter. 1Ds Mk II, 1D Mk II, 50D, 40D, XT (for my son), 17-40L, 24-105L, Bigma 50-500 EX DG, Sigma 150 Macro EX DG, Tokina 12-24 AT-X, Nifty Fifty, Tamron 28-300 (for my son), 580ex II, 430ex II
