Hi Everyone,

I just ordered online and received the 7-million dollar home, but I realized, it's pretty much the same size as my old (one-clip) 6 millio dollar home.

is that right? did the size change or there's not much difference between a 6 and 7 million dollar home?

thanks!

Raymond

It may not look it.. but I think you'll find you have significantly more room in a 7mdh vs. 6mdh. I owned the 7.

I don't have the new 7mdh, but i do have an old 6 and old 7 and there's significantly more room in the 7 than the 6. if they shrank the 7 that's just not cool.

yeah i have these bags side by side, they're exactly the same size, so i'm wondering if they shrank the new ones?

i guess i should have went for the 8 million dollar home instead,
ah one of the things i'll have to live with for online shopping, should have drove my butt to the crumpler store instead =)

The 7mdh I had was the new version (I believe) unless they've changed it again since last year. I have the one with two buckles and it would hold a ton if you wanted it to. Now that I think about it though, I think the biggest difference I remember reading about was fitting lenses like the 70-200 2.8 and 100-400 4.5-5.6, which the 6mdh would not.

hmm interesting, my 70-200 would fit in my 6 million without a problem,

but you're right, i just wanted the shoulder bag for quick and easy access, i have a backpack when i need to carry more gear for a shoot.

Same here.. I bought a Domke, and decided to sell the Crumpler very quickly. Now I have two Domke's..lol. Probably have another before this year is out.

If they both are indeed the very same size, would it be reasonable to think one of them has been mistakenly tagged/labeled?

I understand we're talking about different revisions; this was just my first thought.
Perhaps some picture comparisons are in order to get to the truth.

So back to my original question, anyone own an old vs. new bag of the same series? is it the same or smaller size?

I just filled both bags and they fit the exact same # of items.

I guess I'll either have to order the 8million or the brazillion dollar bag if i wanted something slightly bigger

It looks like the O&B one is a 7MDH and not a 6MDH especially seeing the dividers you have that the 6MDH doesn't come with.
