Contax Zeiss 85mm f/1.4, awesome. This lens truly is a gem.

oh i've tried my friend's c/y 85/1.4 on my camera, it's amazing!
post some more photos when you have time!

i just love the feel of those contax zeiss lens compared to L lens
all metal body, gotta love it

I think it's a great looking lens. I'd love to have the 100. It's gorgeous.

Very sharp images indeed.
Did you use a Contax to EF adapter or was it converted to EF?
Have you compared it to the Polar/Samyang/etc 85 f1.4?

This focal length from Zeiss definitely has a nice mixture of extreme in focus sharpness and nice drop off into background blur.
