I've been playing with a lot of stiff life ideas latley and I noticed another site had a photography assignment that touched on the film noir theme which sort of inspired me to mix it up with a bit of the still life instead of your typical gun toting fedora wearing PI shot.

I used a pellet gun I borrowed from a friend as a prop for the shot as I have a large lack of weapons in my household other then my attack cat, so I am making sure to make great use of it while I have it. I added in my old wallet in as well but am still a little unsure of it bringing anything to the image. I know the style gun and macbook really bring it out of the old film noir setting but I am working with what I have for this particular rainy day. I'd really like to re-shoot this with maybe a revolver and a police badge but we will see what sort of props I can find :D

It's been a long day for Jim, he's got till the weeks end to catch his man and all he's got is more bodies and missing jewels.

Sometimes you get home and all you want to do is strip yourself of anything that gets between you and little R&R.

While I don't think this image is bad, like you said, it would really benefit from a revolver. If you didn't want to go the PI route and toss in a fedora, how about removing the wallet, adding a pearl necklace, a purse and one of those really long cigarette things?
