I make the odd purchase from B&H and I find even with duty it's in most cases cheaper then purchasing here in Canada when the dollar is treating us well. But I hate waiting for my stuff... which is the worst part about all of it :D

I've bought from adorama twice before. shipping is expensive but with the dollar near parity and the price difference between our prices and theirs so large, that even with $30-40 to ship a package their prices are still hundreds lower.

I purchased a lens from B&H about 2 years ago.
Here is a thread with some of that information

I tried to bounce my flash off the ceiling once. Left a mark on the ceiling and broke my flash.

So far the score is at 5 orders no problems. Once I had to call UPS due to a delay but all my toys are here and still working. I do a lot of shipping from the states outside of photography equipment with my computer store as well and most of that all runs on the 5-7 day UPS as well with no problems in terms of package integrity. I'd say I am more worried about being sent the wrong items when ordering from the states rather then it showing up in 10 pieces instead of 1.

I'll be in Virginia Beach for about 10 days this July. What's the deal with me bringing back a semi-expensive lens or body? I'm assuming photoprice.ca has something regarding this that I should check out.
