I like these but I'll admit to hitting the "next" a few times and saw some of the other fine images; for instance the saxophone on its stand by itself.

Really like that one. 8-)

Looks like it was good time....love jazz.

Great job! How did you get 1000 ISO? Did you shoot RAW and process all of those images?

Steve
Many thanks for your comments.
Yes I also like the sax on its stand, the shot has all the correct ingreediants for great jazz.
ie. the instruments and the pint of beer on the floor, what more could you need.
well I suppose some musicians would help.
Cheers

These were shot with my D60 not my 1D Mk 2 and of course the D60 has a top ISO setting of 1000 .

often I prefer to shoot in large jpeg at this type of event, as sometimes i produce digital AV shows through digital projector/laptop etc. and raw always seems to take longer to process.
I don't normally have a problem with most stage lighting. however Raw is very usefull at times.

Thanks for your comments.

Cheers

Interesting. I understand about shooting RAW, it has saved my but a few times, but it still takes longer in the darkroom.
