Thanks. It was a very informal shoot. I brought my bag full of gear and placed it next to a bag full of nappies. I think the contents from both bags were worth the same (gawd disposable nappies are pricey!).
I had to resort to using a Nikkor AF 50mm f/1.4D. I really hate this lens as the focusing element is where I usually place my hands. Irritates me at great lengths. Usually I would shoot with a Sigma 50 1.4 but stupidly I left it at work. 50mm of full-frame (D700) is so perfect.
The other lens I had on my was the AFS 28-70mm f/2.8 IF-ED. I had a lot of problems getting focus to lock with Jack. He squirmed so much! Just when I focused on his cute little hand ... he moves! NOOOooOOooO~! Then he poops. Then he cries. Then he wants to be fed. Mothers ... gotta respect them!
I had a lot more snaps but ... for some reason I didn't transfer them properly from my CF and deleted them unknowingly. Either that or the D200 I have is having write issues.
You are too funny! I wish I can hear it with the Australian accent!
Crikey!
Yes, those babies move too much!
I had two "babies" once.. Now, they are 3 and 1 and they still move too much.. err, run, twist, jump, anything but sit still enough for me to focus and click.
I only have an xTi though.. I think I'm starting to appreciate full frames, because I really like the angle of view that it is capturing.. This is starting to cost too much $$$!
