Does anyone know if perspective fixing is available in LR 3 or not? If not, do you know if it will be added? I think it would be great to be able to do simply perspective fixes in LR instead of having to take the image to Photoshop for this.

Thanks.

Well, every new release of LR brings something new, something that you would have at one time said "Who'd 'a thunk it?" so saying "it'll never happen", well, you just never know. The release of LR3 is supposed to have lens distortion correction, as does CS5 ACR, and at one time you could say "it'll never happen" about doing that in a Raw processor.

So, LR4, LR5, who knows? But for now, some things are still limited to something like PS:)!

Some reasonably knowledgeable predictions that I have seen say the the lens correction function that will be in LR 3.x will be able to do perspective correction also. The two types of correction are basically functionally similar, so it could well happen.

It will happen. Adobe have announced it. There's a cool video showing examples (external link).

I've been using beta 2 of Lightroom 3 for PC for a month or so. Perspective correction has not been implemented in this beta, yet.
Well, it would be great to see this in the new LR, no doubt.
