I'd been trying to do a shoot with a family for a couple of weeks. I was very excited about doing their photos and we had planned for an outdoor shoot, but the first to attempts had to be canceled because of severe storms. As I was driving to the third shoot out of nowhere it began to storm again. The family was just bad luck for rain. Although I was frustrated, I decided not to reschedule this time, but see if I could get some indoor shots.

Here are some of the results(you gotta go to my blog via the links below to see all the pictures though):

Here are the indoor shots:

Luckily the storm quickly passed and we got some outdoor shots as well:

Anyways, I'll take any comments and criticisms.

I love 'em!!!

The 1st and 4th look a tad bit blown out, but they all look great!! Way to improvise on the rain.

What was your setup with lighting and everything!?!?

What were you using for light?
I love the idea of the whole family peeking out from under the cover BTW!

You really capture the love in this family. I am a parent and grandparent, and title really hits home. You can just see the mischief in the eyes of these young people. The second image (young man from nose up looking out from the bed frame) really tells a story. Great work.
