I need a backpack to accommodate a 5D with a grip (so at least 6.5 inches deep), 3 lenses, 3 speedlites, 2 regular lenses, 1 tele lens, and a 13" laptop. I was looking at the Tamrac Expedition 7x, which is perfectly alright for the laptop and depth part, but except for that it seems a little too big.

Could you please suggest me a good backpack which could accommodate that much equipment (with 6.5 inch depth), but still be smaller than the tamrac?

I love my Tamrac Cyber, see my gear in my sig including my Macbook, and I can tell you it fits comfortably with my 70-200 attached. Can get a bit heavy if traveling for long distances.

That's exactly what I need it for :) A gripped 5D mk II, 16-35, 24-105, and 70-200 f/2.8, and a MacBook Pro :D The only problem is the 3 flashguns than, will it fit two 580EX II's and one 430EX II when you have all your gear packed? Also, which model of the CyberPack do you have?

I have the CyberPack 6, and it fits my 580EX II as well as my 430. You can configure it yourself to work that other flash in there. I will ofter pack my hoods separately in a compartment so I don't see it being a issue.

Thanks a lot :) I just looked it up, and it seems like a really good one, it has the advantage over the Expedition 7, as it's smaller, and it's better than the Expedition 6, as it's deeper :) Sounds perfect. Now one last question: Is it comfortable? or is the back of it completely flat and makes your back hurt?

It's padded well, but like I said it can get heavy if fully loaded. I just visited Brazil and traveled heavy....big mistake. My shoulders were killing me. So if I were you, if you are going out for an extended period of time you may want to leave the laptop and cords in the hotel room and choose which lenes you need.

The laptop can always be left in the accommodation as you said, and if I go hiking or travel the whole day, I don't need the flashes on sunny days, anyway I usually use them for studio kind of work. And the lenses will probably always come with me :) It needs to be fully packed only during the plane travels. So thanks a lot for that advice, it seems like I will go for this one.
