May 03, 2010 20:35 | #3 hmmm...that is one good suggestion right there. I am using Sandisk 16 GB Extreme III, 8 GB Extreme III and Extreme II's. I should try to observe which one causes the problem. I was suspecting that but I did not really zero in on that one. Canon 6D/ 7D2 / 50 F1.4 / 70-200 F2.8L IS II / / 135L / Fuji X-T1 / Fuji 23 F1.4 ; Flashes: 2 x Yongnuo 600

oldvultureface Goldmember More info | I had problems with a 4GB Extreme III in a 7D. Buffer would fill and recording stopped. The camera did, however, recover gracefully. The card was exchanged by SanDisk and all is well.

May 03, 2010 22:37 | #5 I tried to run just over a minute of video using 1/125 shutter speed and the 16GB and 8GB extreme III's. looks like the camera did not freeze this time. I will try again tomorrow. both cards are formatted last Saturday. Maybe it has an effect as well. Was there any problems after the exchange? The exchange has worked flawlessly.

I think I'll write Sandisk a little note. Thanks! "There is no point in having sharp images when you've fuzzy ideas." - Godard
