I don't do a lot of these type of people shots, but the one thing that jumps out at me with this set is that in a lot of the shots, there are signs and poles etc growing out of their heads which is really distracting.
Street furniture can be a problem sometimes.
Your exposures look to be ok and they look to be relatively comfortable with you and the camera.

You're only supposed to embed a max of 8 images. A mod will come along and yell at you soon.

Your DOF looks good, your exposures are close, with a couple underexposed and overexposed. You have some that look a little flashy. You have some questionable crops. But, the couple does look like they are having fun. You should try and do some consistent editing. I normally don't do more than 3 styles per session and it's GENERALLY never more than two - one color and one black and white. Looks more professional that way.

I am super cool n' stuff.

Before the mods come along, could you point out which ones just use a little editing?
Thank you

Rules are rules. Please stick to a maximum of 8 images, then link the rest in. Suzi is gonna have a fit!

Be careful with framing. Most photos have either of the couple's half-body missing.

And try to keep some form of consistency in processing.

They're certainly not as bad as you described. They're good. But could be better.

fixxed.

I dont get how your supposed to get a tight crop, maintain rule of thirds and still keep a person 1/2 body in the frame...

Remember that the rule of thirds is not a rule but a guide. You can break them. In fact, a lot of awesome photos throw the rule of thirds out the window.

What you want is proportion. You can chop of body parts (much to the angst of photographers). But make sure that it works. If it is indeed a tight crop, focus on the faces in the composition.

Great advise on the rule of 3rds, and I'll definately keep it in mind next time I do a shoot. Sometimes in the rush of doing things I forget the basics. Someone said the hardest part in growing as a photographer is the point in which you know just enough about being a good photog it can actually work against you.

Beautiful set! Nice PP. I see the selective color with her eyes in #2 which is nice but difficult to see unless really looking for it. I personally would rather see it in B&W. That might help it stand out better too.

I like the concept in #10

#11 and #12 look a little dark.

Again a very nice set.

Thank you! I didn't want her selective color eyes to stand out to much and make it look competely fake. I'd rather someone catch it off guard and be surprised or them not notice it at all. I didn't wanna rub it in the viewers face I gues is the best way to explain it.

Thanks for the input on 11/12
Im going to pump the brightness now
