You’ve all heard of the phrase “An embarrassment of riches”? That was me last night! It was the first Tuesday night in a month that we weren’t threatened by rain & the parking lot was full, so I had to wait until late to get some shots. It wasn’t ‘till between 8:45 & 9:15 that there was enough space between some cars to get the pics.
Throw a whole handful of peanuts at a chipmunk sometime. That was me running around! I did manage to get 5 pretty great cars in that time, and Larry's '29 Ford is one of them! He's a very nice guy. He was driving away when I asked him to pull over & let me take these.

It's powered by a blown '57 block 392 Hemi which puts out 650 bhp! It doesn't matter how fast it is. One look & I wouldn't mess with it! ;)
It has 2 4bbl carbs & a mild cam. 727 Chrysler trans pushing a Ford 9" 4.11 rear end.

It IS nice & actually looks better than that. I wish I could have moved it around to get better highlights on those slab sides. It's only starting to "pop" in #5.

You can always tell a pro by the way he holds his camera perfectly level to line up the yellow parking lot line.;)

Nice shots as always. I'm sure that car turns some heads, though I think it looks a bit goofy with the engine angled up toward the front. How does he see to make a right turn? Periscope?

the colour and shape of this car is beautiful
'goofy' is just for that part of the engine showing.

I can't take this
I even hurt the beautiful car's feelings
