what happens is the first 50% of images in each chapter are determined by the forum vote. Once that is complete the Panel Members choose the second 50% of the images. That is the process that is underway at this time.

Was the number of votes allowed per share 50% of the total images in each share?

no not at all. those numbers were established with the first volume. Not sure what math was used to determine them but they work well.

I get the impression we are purposely being ignored?

Richard, it's not that you're being ignored. The issue is that no one knows. The primary person that leads the POTN Books, Jamie Holladay, has been absent and no one has stepped up to fill his shoes. So things have stalled. As a volunteer in the process I can speak from my own thoughts and say that I am just as interested in seeing this project progress as you and others. I'd like to finish what we've started, I just don't have the knowledge to move it forward.

theague,

Thanks. Thats the sort of response I wanted the first time. Better a negative response than no response at all!

I hope JH is OK?

Maybe we were all waiting for someone else to respond. :p

I don't know, I haven't heard anything about him. I believe he's just been super busy.

Still nothing really. There's been some activity by others to try to get things more organized but for some reason people are not really doing much and Jamie is still nowhere to be found. :(
