I caught this quick shot of a blackbird the other day. Unfortunately he was standing on rather an ugly post, so I cropped it to make a portrait. I was quite pleased with it, so hope you all like :D

I love the blackbirds you have over there! Look a bit like our Robins in shape. Nice shot Sheryl.

Thanks Steve, I caught this guy when I was waiting for the wren to show up so he took me by surprise, landing just a few feet away!

Sheryl I Just shot a couple blackbirds myself today so I am especially impressed with the quality of your image. Excellent exposure and detail.
