Love the expression on no.1. Would crop no.2 so that the adult's arm is not in the picture. Don't know if it's my monitor, but both look a little soft..have you tried sharpening them a little?

yeah didnt notice the elbow.....bottom pic is soft because I took it hand held 1/30 f2.8...still working on it...

CC? Try cropping a little closer in on both. Mover her around in the frame to see if you can find a crop that draws your eye better than the others.
