shot this over a year ago, 7 exposures at 18mm each.
am I positioned to far back? Not tight enough?

I like the comp but I would not have used a flash. The highlighted people up close are distracting IMO.

It is a nice composition but like GorgeShooter says, the foreground flash keeps it from being a great shot.

I concur with previous posts, the flash made those highlighted folks on both sides compete with the main subject (field). Try cropping them out and see how it looks. Nice shot though!

This is a great shot, no need to change anything. You have flashed the people on both side of the picture, that gives a balance. The crowd here is just as much a part of the shot as the game, so I see no Problem. But to make those people darker shouldn't be to difficult to do, would be nice if you post another version where those people where exposed like everybody else in the picture.


Living in Austria, I am so glad that there is stuff like Gimp out there...
I am a happy giver, so if you find any misspelling in my text, you can keep them... :)
