20D, 1120mm (2x + 1.4x + 400mm F/5.6), F/16 (wide open) That exposure time really is becoming a bit of an issue, I feel like I'm at the limit without some sort of tracking mount

But yes, getting towards that sort of focal length you'll find tracking invaluable. Canon EOS 450D, Sigma 18-200mm, Canon 50mm f/2.5 Macro, 2x TC, Revelation 12" f/5 Dobsonian, Mintron PD2285-EX webcam.
