My friends run an event called the 24 Hours of Lemons. A race for $500 cars. I took a few pics of their current entry.

Yes, a BMW E30 made up to look like Christine, a '58 Fury

A race for $500 cars.

That sounds like a lot of fun!

Is that Duct Tape?

In this case, it's racers tape. :D

I can't explain why, but I really, really like the last one. I'm not sure what it is, and i'm not usually a fan of that psuedo-realism HDR stuff, but i'm really a fan of this one. Nice work.

Nice shots of the purebred race car. :)

Do they have these races all over the US? I have some friends that attend one of those races here on the east coast every year......they always morph a Miata into something. They just had it near here within the last month.

Thanks!

And yeah, they have races all over the US. Started over here on the west coast at Altamont Raceway. But now its all over the place! This will be racing at Thunder Hill in Willows, CA this weekend.

Hey, that's Scott's car! We work together. I was trying to take pics of this car also, but you beat me to it. I love that thing.

Yeah, sadly I won't be up with all of them at the track (I know everyone on the team). I wish I could get some on track shots of her.
